My first time going private and I couldn't fault this hospital at all. All the people were very nice and caring and made you feel great.
In comparison to other private hospitals in London such as the Lister, the Clementine Churchill Hospital is very unprofessional. This review is NOT CONCERNED WITH THE CONSULTANT and anaesthetist, who were outstanding, but with the actual hospital. I was a day patient and prior to surgery was shown a menu and I gave them my choices Lo and behold just after coming back from recovery, and in my room, I was just given two pieces of toast and jam, which was not what I ordered. Why do they bother with the menu? If I was attending the hospital with a serious illness I would feel VERY VERY insecure. As you are paying, I think it is only correct that the patient should feel looked after. What a shame, as some of the consultants are top notch. The hospital itself is very much past its sell by date, and needs complete renovation if it is to compete with other new medical facilities that are opening all the time.
Outstanding care.
Excellent care, clean and very good food.
Very unimpressed with the lack of communication from this hospital from the start to follow up appointment.
I seemed to be the one having to do all the calling.
Calls were never returned and the whole experience very stressful.
Some members of staff from porters, kitchen staff to nurses had serious attitude problems others went beyond the call of duty.
I felt they were very under staffed and basic training is required.
Luckily I was not ill but very this is the second time I have been in and very unimpressed with the overall set up.
Nobody seems to be in charge and each day was a lottery as to who was on duty.
Surgeon X-ray and physio team excellent
During my time at the clementine Churchill hospital I found all members of staff extremely helpful and professional. The hospital is clean and comfortable and I could not fault the care that I received.
Very caring
Great hospital and friendly staff!
BMI Clementine Churchill while clearly an older hospital (I'd guess mid 80's), is an exceptionally well-maintained and clean hospital. It's evident that even the somewhat dated public access toilets have been well-looked after and kept clean throughout. The staff are clearly very proud to work there, and are always on-hand, helpful and kind.
The staff at Chartwell suite were fantastic!
The WiFi was extremely disappointing because it didn’t work. In this day & age to have no WiFi is
I’ve seen so many Drs the last few years but no one gave me the help I needed, the time or day and more importantly no one was able to cure me like Dr Dias has.
What was a really frightening and stressful experience for me to go through and also had a massive impact on my day to day life, Dr Dias showed me nothing but reassurance, kindness, supportiveness, patience and most importantly showed me results as well as genuinely cared for me. Dr Dias is a good listener, she respected me and my wishes and also went out of her way to fit me in her diary when she was fully booked and chose to come in early which she didn’t need to do. This just shows how passionate and caring Dr Dias is.
If your looking for an excellent Dr I can promise you, you will not be disappointed with Dr Dias.
Dr Dias, I honestly cannot thank you enough for your continuous help, guidance, support, patience, care and most importantly for curing me. I wouldn’t be where I am now if it wasn’t for you. You’ll forever be in my heart, I will never forget what you have done for me and your a massive credit to the NHS.
Thank you.
